Tropical Christian School is a private Christian
school here in Miami, Florida serving pre-school through 8th grade levels. It is located on the campus of our church, but is a separate organization from the Sunset Church of Christ.
Many of our members are involved as staff, students, or school parents.
- Purpose
- Tropical Christian School is committed to providing quality education in a Christian environment. They emphasize the eternal values of God as well as provide a high level of academic achievement.
- Educational Philosophy
- TCS believes that each child has infinite worth and value. Since each child is an individual with unique abilities and needs, the learning experience at TCS will be child-centered and individualized to the best of our ability.
- Admissions
- As a private school TCS reserves the privilege of setting and maintaining there own standards of conduct, dress, cleanliness and scholarship. They do not deny admittance to any child because of race, religion, or national origin. Students entering 3, 4 or 5 year old class must attain that respective age before September 1 of that school year.
- Extended Care
- Child care is available on school days for 7:00-8:00 AM and 3:00-6:00 PM. They also provide care on certain school holidays.
